I grew up in the Midwest among many rows of soybeans and corn. I’ve been calling the beautiful state of Utah my home since 1990. This place really is a paradise, especially in the Eden/Huntsville area, which I have recently discovered and have made my home. I am a family man and love spending time with my boys.
A few years ago, I was in a serious accident and had to be life-flighted to the hospital. After 8 hours of surgery and a lot of good fortune, I began my healing process. As a result of the accident, I needed to change careers. After meeting Nate, an awesome sports massage therapist in South Ogden, I knew what I wanted to do.
I’ve always been an athlete. I played sports all through high school and college. Right now my passion is mountain biking and Spartan racing. I have had the privilege of competing at a high level at Spartan World Championships. I’m looking forward to competing in the Xterra Trail Run again this year.
In addition to the world of athletics, I love working with people. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. Massage therapy is a way for me to bring together my love of working with people and my athletic background. Being trained by the Stretch to Win Institute has been a great blessing. I work with college and professional athletes as well as weekend warriors. I love helping people achieve their very best in order to achieve their goals. You have to stretch to win. I have a lot of empathy for people who are in pain, especially after what I have been through. I really feel like I can help make a difference with Mountain Performance Massage.

Nature has always been an inspiration to me. Growing up I spent my summer weekends in the pine forests of the Uintah Mountains. As an adult, I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. When I immerse myself in the beauty of these places, I am constantly reminded of the energy, balance and life that is all around us.
These are the principles that I bring to my work as a massage therapist. I use a mixture of techniques, tailored specifically to each client, in an effort to heal, invigorate, and nurture the body.
I hope that, through my work, my clients experience improved overall mental, spiritual, and physical health.
